For 124 years, The Salvation Army – East Stroudsburg (TSAES) has been a partner in combating hunger and homelessness through Emergency Feeding Programs (five-day a week soup kitchen and monthly and weekly/daily warehouse distribution) and Emergency Shelter/Housing programs through our Emergency Shelters in Monroe County, PA. TSAES employs experienced staff who are continually evolving programs, with over 100 strong community partnerships, to move toward healthy, nutritional food, eating habits and food security and rapid rehousing and homeless prevention. Overseen by a local Advisory Board of dedicated Pocono Community members, TSAES remains committed to The Salvation Army Mission: To preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.
